Welcome

Hello and welcome to my blog. The blog will detail each date I arrange, have and how they go. So far I haven't got past the first date with anyone!!!! Now you will see there have been a few dates over the next few posts, this blog has only just popped into my head so am updating you all on my dating disasters so far.

I had no idea the dating scene was so hard, at the tender age of 26 I thought I was still in my prime but it would appear not. Normally I like to go for younger men, however I want all reminders of my ex to disappear so thought I would go for a total change and try, for once in my life 'the older man'! Now when I say older I mean my age or perhaps up to 30 so im not pushing myself too far out of my comfort zone. However it would appear that it's not that easy.

When I first split up with my ex, somebody I worked with at the time could not understand why I was so upset but then came out with the classic line "well I suppose it must be hard, at your age there isn't many single men around anymore is there"!!! Charming!! Needless to say I no longer work for this company, but it would seem she was actually right!

I left this company knowing that my new job had only 2 other women in it and the rest were all men. 'ideal' i thought, there's bound to be a hot man waiting for me. WRONG!!! Don't get me wrong there are lots of hot men there's just not one single one!! Not one of the men I work with is detached!! Can you believe it!

So my next step.. a dating site...........
