Right I decide I need to lower my standards a bit, maybe extend the age range slightly. I've received a message from a 35 year old, quite good looking and seems really nice so I agree to a date with him.
I'm not overly excited about it, which is wrong I know but I'm just not sure about how much I will have in common with someone 9 years older than me! But I want to give him the chance, as I have said before I haven't been out with anyone older so I may like what I find.
Anyway it was date day and i'm meant to be meeting him at 7pm, I hadn't heard from him for a few days and I'm wondering if the date is still on. After speaking to one of my date specialists in work he says text him now (3pm) so I do.
I ask "are we still on for tonight", about 5 minutes later this is the reply
"Ummmm, yes & no.
I have football tonight until 830pm
So I can meet you after or at 530pm?"
Sorry but who on earth goes on a date at 530pm??
My reply was short and to the point explaining I can do neither due to 530 being too early and I have to leave at 930 to be back for the babysitter!
No reply from him!!!!!
Later that evening at exactly what should have been date time I receive a message from him explaining that he does want to meet me.
Not that i'm a sarcastic little madamme but I couldn't resist mentioning in my reply that I thought he was meant to be at football not on the computer!!
Anyway turns out he had FORGOTTEN!!!! all about out little rendeavour, how charming. So if I hadn't text him I would have been stood up for the second time!! Amazing
Needless to say I haven't got back to him about a next time
